Vlora’s Painting Days has started in 2009 as part of a civil society movement to bring attention to the natural beauty of the local landscape, as a way to raise awareness and combat the planned large oil refinery industrial plant which was about to be built in the Bay of Vlora. Twelve years later the gathering lives on with its sixth edition.
